Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection (FCA-Ped)
Standard on SE, SEL and SEL Activity trims. When the system detects a vehicle or pedestrian ahead, it warns you of a potential collision. If you don’t begin stopping in time, the system may automatically apply braking. In addition, the FCA system can also apply brakes when turning left at an intersection when risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected.

Standard on XRT and Limited trims. This feature, available on select vehicles, helps maintain a set distance and speed from the vehicle ahead when driving on a highway and helps center the vehicle in the lane, even through a curve.
Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)
Standard on XRT & Limited trims. With this available feature, a live camera feed of the lane will appear on the digital instrument gauge display when you signal to change lanes.
Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)
Standard on all trims. When your Hyundai’s radar detects a vehicle in your blind spot area, you’ll receive a visual alert. If you try to change lanes in this situation, an audio warning will sound.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control w/ Stop & Go and Curve Control
Standard on XRT and Limited trims. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control is a system of safety features. While traveling at a speed set by you, the Stop & Go feature uses a radar to help maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. After the system slows the vehicle to a stop, it will reactivate if the vehicle in front moves within 3 seconds. Navigation-based cruise control feature sets the cruising speed at the maximum speed limit of the road on which the car is driving based on the local speed limit. Lastly, the Curve Control feature slightly reduces the cruising speed in expectation of a curved road.
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
Standard on all trims. This feature warns you through audio/visual cues and steering wheel vibrations if it detects your vehicle drifting out of its driving lane without signaling. If necessary, it may gently apply corrective steering assistance to keep you inside the lane.
Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
Standard on all trims. To help prevent potential accidents, this system monitors your driving patterns to detect drowsy or inattentive driving. Once detected, it alerts you with a sound cue coupled with a warning message on the instrument cluster.
Surround View Monitor (SVM)
Standard on XRT and Limited trims. This feature combines camera feeds to give you a 360-degree bird's-eye view around your vehicle.
Forward Attention Warning (FAW)
Standard on XRT and Limited trims. This safety feature monitors the driver's attentiveness to the road using a driver-facing camera. If it determines you are distracted, it will alert you with an audible tone and a message on the instrument panel reminding you to stay focused on the road ahead.
Safe Exit Warning (SEW)
Standard on all trims. This pioneering innovation warns the driver when the vehicle is parked and its radar detects a vehicle approaching from behind.
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)
Standard on all trims. After the engine is turned off, this feature, available on select vehicles, uses a visual warning in the instrument cluster to remind you to check the rear seats before exiting.
Lane Following Assist (LFA)

SANTA CRUZ was released in 2021 for the 2022 model year and was the first four-door pickup truck sold by Hyundai in the North American market.
Hyundai SANTA CRUZ Limited and XRT trims have a 281-hp 2.5L turbocharged engine and can tow trailers up to 5,000 pounds. Trailers must be fitted with their own braking systems, independent of SANTA CRUZ, so they’re able to assist with braking.
Currently, there is no hybrid version of Hyundai SANTA CRUZ.
